p 9:00pm | Mr. Brooks (2007)
Maybe we haven't seen a good crime thriller in a while, or maybe I just watched too much MrBallin on youtube today, but here's a twisty psycho-killer movie about a sorta Jekyll & Hyde businessman by day/serial murderer by night. Apparently Demi Moore's character has 60 million dollars, but is still a cop... and Dane Cook is mucking about in a supposedly serious role, so I'm still not entirely sure if this film by the writer/director of Kuffs isn't a comedy...
Starring: Kevin Costner, Demi Moore, William Hurt, Dane Cook

10:00pm | The Secret of NIMH (1982)
Don Bluth and several other animators walked out on Disney to recapture the emotion and depth of 40s era animation with this amazing film. It's a children's story about a mouse family, but it's definitely not childish. Quite dark at times and dealing with some very real issues, this one clocks in at only 82 minutes, but it's packed with beautiful images and charming characters. A true classic!
Starring: Elizabeth Hartman, Derek Jacobi, Dom DeLuise

9:00pm | Halloween II (1981)
"Here I go killin' again..." I think is what The Shape says in this. Taking place immediately after the events of the first film, this sequel is a worthy followup to its legendary predecessor. Or it isn't, don't come at me if you're some sorta Halloween-Head. I think they're all pretty okay, but does Michael Myers ever GO TO SPACE??? Checkmate Halloweenies!
Starring: JLC, Donald Pleasence, Charles Cyphers, Dick Warlock

9:00pm | Ip Man 3 (2015)
More awesome fight scenes, more Ip Man: Family Man, more delicious propaganda this time involving (not kidding) Iron Mike Tyson!! And we get a brief subplot with young Bruce Lee, although he's used kinda more as comic relief. Honestly there's a few too many things going on in the story to be cohesive, it kinda feels like a couple scripts kung-fu-smashed into one. But the action is as unstoppable as ever! Don't miss the iconic elevator scene!
Starring: Donnie Yen, Lynn Xiong, Danny Kwok-Kwan Chan, Mike Tyson

9:00pm | Alien Apocalypse (2005)
Aliens have taken over Earth and it's up to returning space doctors Bruce Campbell and friends to fix that particular problem. Nice and comfy Sunday night movie after all the holiday shenanigans! Filmed in Bulgaria for about $40.
Starring: Bruce Campbell, Renee O'Connor, A Whole Lotta Guys Whose Names End In "v"
