Oct 31st

Noon-Midnight | Spook Marathon! Happy Halloweeeeen!! All day spooky movie marathon! Let's GOOOOOO.
Starring: Elvira, Spooky Internet Videos, Glitchy Stream Avatars, Bot Maybe!

Oct 30th

9:00pm | Parents (1989) I'm not sure how many people know about this movie, it definitely has a cult following, but I feel like it could've slipped past even some die-hard horror fans. If you happen to not know it though, go in cold and you'll have a fine time! If you do remember this little doozy you'll delight in the beautifully remastered picture and sound while enjoying Randy Quaid just being super creepy. In a good way! Well, not in a good way at all, but in a bug-eyed wut da fuk kinda way. It is horror-comedy at its finest - bold colors, atmospheric, unsettling, and funny... like if John Waters did a Guillermo del Toro movie.
Starring: Randy Quaid, Mary Beth Hurt, Sandy Dennis, Bryan Madorsky

10:25pm | The Velocipastor (2019) Well the time has finally come. Yes, this is the first re-run of a movie (from sometime last December). But at 395 days in, I hope you won't hold it against me! Also, this movie KICKS ASS! So save your delicious salty tears for the confessional, bruh! He's a Pastor. He's a were-raptor. He fights crime and junk. Just watch this beautiful cinematic masterpiece and try not to find God in it, I DARE YOU.
Starring: Gregory James Cohan, Alyssa Kempinski, Jesse Turits

Oct 29th

11:00pm | The Reef (2010) Throwback to Friday Night Shark Troll! Except I promise, this one's actually good. I only still have it because of that! Aussie flick about a group of friends whose boat capsizes near the GBR getting hunted by a great white. Pick your players early and hope they paid attention in swim class! Nom nom nom nom.
Starring: Damian Walshe-Howling, Adrienne Pickering, Gyton Grantley, Zoe Naylor

Oct 28th

10:00pm | C.H.U.D. (1984) It's the 80s and New York's homeless problem is worse than ever... because the corporations have been dumping radioactive waste into the sewer system, turning its temporarily housing-impaired citizens into grotesque murder mutants. The title's not a secret in some way, it stands for Cannilbalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers. That's whatcha sign up for; that's whatcha get!
Starring: John Heard, Daniel Stern, Kim Greist, Chris Curry, Quick John Goodman Sighting

Oct 27th

10:00pm | Lair of the White Worm (1988) Based on a lesser known novel of Bram Stoker and directed by the notoriously unapologetic, cheeky Ken Russell, Lair of the White Worm is a supremely weird mix of camp and the surreal. Horrible makeup and effects, disturbing religious dreamscapes, oh, and dicks. DICKS DICKS DICKS. This is not a subtle movie in its imagery. Anyway, a young Hugh Grant trots about, and I think Peter Capaldi wears a kilt and tries to bagpipe the demon-vampire lady away if I remember right...?
Starring: Hugh Grant, Amanda Donohoe, Catherine Oxenberg, Peter Capaldi, Sammi Davis

Oct 26th

9:00pm | Night of the Demons (2009) A much more polished looking remake of the 1988 cult classic rock demon gore fest, this one doesn't have that gritty indie punk appeal of the original, but it's not without merit. Ya know, like all the weird kissing. Boys and girls kissing. Girls kissing girls. Demons kissing girls. Demons kissing demons... like a horny demon high school anime, it's got you covered in that department. But it's also pretty gross like the original... and not just the kissing. Hold onto ya faces!
Starring: Monica Keena, Shannon Elizabeth, Tatyana Kanavka, Michael Arata, Edward Furlong, Linnea Quigley from the Original!

Oct 25th

9:00pm | Dance of the Dead (2008) This (somewhat unfortunately named) indie zom-rom-com has surprisingly good production value and quality comedic timing. Also this Greyson Chadwick has something mesmerizing about her.. could be she's super hot, I dunno, it's one for the scholars. What this movie doesn't have is a solid grasp on its zombie canon; some are fast, some are slow, some literally explode out of the ground running... come on guys, this is zombie 101, tighten your belts.
Starring: Jared Kusnitz, Greyson Chadwick, Chandler Darby, Carissa Fowler, Jonathan Spencer, Justin Welborn, Stephen Caudill

Oct 24th

9:00pm | Mine Games (2012) A group of young, beautiful people go to a remote cabin for drinks and drugs. They almost kill some dum dum on the way. Yada Yada. It's hardly a novel setup. When they discover something unexplainable in a nearby cave, weirdness ensues. Fun, twisty, psych-thriller better than its rating suggests, but not without some quality B elements and unnecessary screaming!
Starring: Joseph Cross, Briana Evigan, Rafi Gavron, Ethan Peck, Julianna Guill, Rebecca Da Costa, Alex Meraz

Oct 23rd

9:00pm | Piranha (1978) Genetically mutated piranha have been released into the summer resort's river, OH NOOO! This is one of Joe Dante's first movies, and it's awesome. Can a school of piranha devour a human down to a spooky skeleton in seconds? Are they even strictly carnivorous or can they have some river weed sometimes as a treat? These are the hard-hitting questions I'm sure we'll tackle in chat without even bothering to wiki!
Starring: Bradford Dillman, Heather Menzies-Urich, Kevin McCarthy, Barbara Steele

10:35pm | Lake Michigan Monster (2018) Clearly made by a guy who loves movies and had like.. $400 extra bucks burning a hole in his pocket, this is a brilliant little indie film! Seriously, there are some genuinely creative and hilarious things going on in this. Both a throwback to classic monster movies and somehow entirely its own original, bizarre thing. You will love it!
Starring: Ryland Brickson Cole Tews, Erick West, Beulah Peters, Daniel Long

Oct 22nd

11:00pm | The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) A couple's car breaks down in the middle of nowhere and they seek shelter at a rather unique mansion. But really though, this is one of the most recognizable movies in history probably, so if I need to explain it, then just get your ass to this stream and buckle in, don't even think about clicking that trailer button! Actually, now that I think about it, I couldn't explain this movie if I did try... go ahead and give that trailer a go! For seasoned vets, costumes are optional but encouraged!
Starring: Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Meat Loaf, Peter Hinwood

Oct 21st

10:00pm | Anaconda (1997) A whole slew of great names pop up in this 90s B blockbuster, whether they make any sense together or in the movie at all! You'll take your J-Lo x Ice Cube mashup with some Owen "Wow" samples and like it! "Throw in a few Oscar winners and Danny Trejo and I'm in." Oh they fight big, screaming snakes too. "I SAID I'm in!!"
Starring: Ice Cube, J-Lo, Eric Stoltz, Jon Voight, Owen Wilson, Danny Trejo

Oct 20th

10:00pm | The Brain (1988) A man and his giant alien brain control people through a shitty self-help cable show and local troubled teen has to stop them. This movie has the best special effects you've ever seen! I'm kidding, but it is a whole lotta fun!
Starring: David Gale, Tom Bresnahan, Cynthia Preston

Oct 19th

9:00pm | The Grudge 2 (2006) Sequel to the american remake of Ju-On, directed by the guy who did all four versions, no idea if it has anything to do with Ju-On 2 (the japanese version), or if two franchises diverged in a pale blue filter and became their own things. Are you confused yet? cuz it's Two 4 2usday.
Starring: A bunch of beautiful people and a hissing cursed kid

Oct 18th

9:00pm | Stage Fright (2014) Music Monday is back! As soon as a schoolbus full of theatre kids burst out into song in the first five minutes, I had to look away and try not to vomit a little. So of course I'm gonna share this nonstop WutFace with you guys!! If I'm gonna chunder from a movie, it's gonna be on stream. This is NOT Anna and the Apocalypse... get ready to hate musicals again friends!
Starring: Allie MacDonald, Meat Loaf, Douglas Smith, Minnie Driver for like a whole 90 seconds

Oct 17th

9:00pm | Head Count (2018) A group of college kids does college kid stuff at a rental house out in Joshua Tree, eventually of course summoning a demon of sorts that proceeds to haunt their hot tub shroomin' good vibes. This is a pretty atmospheric creepy good time, not the typical coed slasher you might expect given the setup. There's a whole bunch of characters in this, so choose your on-screen alter ego dummy with reckless abandon!
Starring: Isaac Jay, Jay Lee, Ashleigh Morghan, Bevin Bru, Others

Oct 16th

Saturday Spook Double Feature!! Join for one! Join for both! Don't join! The possibilities are endless! Okay, maybe that's all of them. But join for fun!

9:00pm | Dolls (1986) Delightfully creepy short and sweet offering from Stuart Gordon, Dolls is about a pretty punchable family that gets stranded in a storm forcing them to take shelter in a mansion with an old toymaker couple. Are you afraid of dolls? You will be!
Starring: Guy Rolfe, Hilary Mason, Ian Patrick Williams, Carolyn Purdy-Gordon, Carrie Lorraine

10:20pm | Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers (1998) Second on the bill is this insanely fun sequel to what's probably considered the biggest cult slasher hit of the 80s. It's got all the cheezy dialog and ridiculous kills of the first and more! But this time we've not only got Bruce Springsteen's sister in the lead, but also a long-lost Sheen sibling too! Awesome! If you haven't seen the first, well, you probably should, there's kind of a super important spoiler there at the end...
Starring: Pamela Springsteen, Renée Estevez, Brian Patrick Clarke

Oct 15th

11:00pm | Uzumaki (2000) I wouldn't know about the manga it's based on, but fans seem to agree this is about as good as it gets in terms of a live action adaptation. What I can say is Uzumaki is a truly bizarre movie. There's some funny bits, there's some incredibly disturbing imagery, and then there's the snails... it's a very specific experience, this movie. Basically a small town gets cursed into becoming obsessed with sprials to their demise. We gettin' Friday Night Weird up in here!
Starring: Eriko Hatsune, Fhi Fan, Denden, Hinako Saeki

Oct 14th

9:00pm | The Thing (2011) This is a remake of the classic 1982 John Carpenter film, but unlike a lot of 80s horror remakes of this same time period, it's actually is a pretty great film. Now, am I partial to Mary Elizabeth Winstead? 100%. Are there countless other three name hotties in this for all to enjoy as well as a great re-telling of the antarctic isolation alien horror story? You better believe it! We've even got a couple Bjørns and a Jørge!!
Starring: Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel Warrior Edgerton, Ulrich Thomsen, Eric Christian Olsen, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje

Oct 13th

10:00pm | Sorority Row (2009) This is I guess technically a remake of House on Sorority Row, but it's actually a lot more like IKWYDLS in terms of story. It's very much a slick-looking version of the straight forward slasher movies of the 80s, we got a lineup of sexy ladies ready to be killed off in bizarre and (sometimes) creative ways! And look I know Jamie Chung is infamous for tanking every movie she's in and some even think she's a really fucking terrible actor, but my eyeballs still somehow always send good messages to my brain when they see her..
Starring: Briana Evigan, Rumer Willis, Carrie Fisher, Margo Harshman, Jamie Chung

Oct 12th

10:00pm | Resident Evil: Retribution (2012) All right, THIS one is my favorite one... I think. I'm not sure, they're a big zombie mess in my delicious brains. You know what to expect here! Girls with guns doing flips and shootin' the undead in the fight for humanity versus corporation!
Starring: Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez, Sienna Guillory

Oct 11th

9:00pm | Halloween Party (2019) It's the standard killer chainletter formula a la The Ring, Pulse, All Your Emails in 1999, etc. So a haunted meme virus is going around knockin' off coeds via their supposed worst fears and it's up to our hottie protag and her new nerd friend to figure out the source of the demonic pixle-art. Some strong Canada vibes (despite the title being likely unavailable to our friends up north), good production value, and decent dialog for a B horror, make this a fun time regardless of its rating!
Starring: Amy Groening, T. Thomason, Marietta Laan, Zach Faye

Oct 10th

9:00pm | Vampire's Kiss (1989) We've certainly seen some nutty Cage flicks, but this one is truly bizarre on a different level. Never really sure where it belongs, it see-saws between comedy and horror, then somehow manages to churn itself out a great movie. This is some Cagey-ass Cage, so put on your Cage faces and buckle in for a full course meal of ALL the scenery you can stuff in your Cage-hole!
Starring: Nic Cage, Maria Conchita Alonso, Jennifer Beals

Oct 9th

9:00pm | Prometheus (2012) I know, I know, this is primarily Sci-Fi, but I'm gonna allow it for a Saturday... after all, I come from a time when video stores had the "Sci-Fi/Horror" section. So calm your tits. I've also never seen this apparent afront-to-all-that-is-film to some people and god-like-mastery to others. So who knows what'll happen! Anyway, it's a weird-ass sequel/prequel to the Alien franchise or something? Come at me nerds.
Starring: Noomi Rapace, Logan Marshall-Green, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Guy Pearce

Oct 8th

11:00pm | April Fool's Day (1986) Our rich galpal Muffy St. John has invited us and a few other friends to her secluded island mansion for a weekend of fun! Doesn't that sound nice? It's almost as if nothing could go wrong! Of course, this being October and also the midnight movie... let's just say I'm keeping my monkaHmm face on. OHH, I wonder if she has a pool?!
Starring: Deborah Foreman, Griffin O'Neal, Clayton Rohner, Jay Baker, Amy Steel

Oct 7th

10:00pm | The Ruins (2008) A group of friends on holiday in Mexico want to visit a super secret ancient temple site because Chichen Itza is for babies and filthy noobs. But when they get there, they may find something else... something that won't let them leave. This is full-on body horror, so if that makes you squeamish... get on in here! We will laugh our fears away at our stupid squishy flesh sacks!
Starring: Shawn Ashmore, Jena Malone, Jonathan Tucker, Laura Ramsey, Joe Anderson, Sergio Calderon

Oct 6th

10:00pm | Phantasm (1979) A grave robbing ghoul known only as The Tall Man is stealing bodies and/or souls for his sinister delights in this classic spook show! This is Don Coscarelli's original big breakout, well not original, this is actually a remastered version. But all the questionable 70s special FX will be so much cleaner and brighter!
Starring: A. Michael Baldwin, A Bill Thornbury, A Reggie Bannister, An Angus Scrimm

Oct 5th

10:00pm | Wishmaster (1997) Evil genie/jinn/djinn... however you wanna spell it! Grants people wishes in exchange for their souls or to bring back its buddies from the netherworld or something. I can't really remember too well, but it's a nice and spooky original offering from Wes Craven in the middle of the Scream meta craze. What are you gonna wish for? Me, probably like... $5.00.
Starring: Tammy Lauren, Andrew Divoff, Robert Englund, Ted Raimi, Verne Troyer

Oct 4th

9:00pm | House (1985) This is one of my favorite haunted house movies. It's got super fun practical effects, brings some great original gags and genuine spooks, and never takes itself too seriously. Written by Fred Dekker of many great thrillers and directed by Steve Miner who you may know from such classics as Lake Placid, Warlock, and a handful of 13th's and Halloweens, this movie delivers on everything you want in horror!
Starring: William Katt, Kay Lenz, George Wendt, Mary Stavin

Oct 3rd

9:00pm | Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015) Some loser teens who are probably too old to still be scouts and a hot strip club waitress have to save their town from a zombie invasion. Super fun, almost one-night-party genre movie with some great laughs and zombie gags. See trailer for the reason to bring your MYAAA's to this one! Also, Cloris Leachman run anybody? Maybe? Maybe.
Starring: Tye Sheridan, Logan Miller, Joey Morgan, Sarah Dumont, David Koechner, Cloris Leachman

Oct 2nd

9:00pm | Young Frankenstein (1974) Gene Wilder plays the descendant of Dr. Frankenstein, inheriting his estate and all the characters that come with it. When he discovers the mad doctor's notes he begins to think that just maybe there is something to this re-animating the dead thing. Probably the best horror spoof of all time? I dunno, maybe the Scary Movie franchise will get some traction in chat, I mean, that Chris Elliot hand scene might be the funniest thing ever put on film. Just gonna go ahead and drop that right heeeeere...
Starring: Gene Wilder, Marty Feldman, Peter Boyle, Cloris Leachman, Teri Garr, Madeline Kahn

Oct 1st

11:00pm | I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) Modern classic teen slasher thriller that we all know and love. It has beautiful people! It has gruesome murderous revenge! It has recollection of past traumatic events that surely might have unforeseen consequences! And JLH's booba pretty much bouncin' around all the live long day.
Starring: Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr., Ryan Two-Name Phillippe
