   9:00pm | Beowulf (2007) A bit of an oddball this one. Written by Neil Gaiman and Roger Avery, directed by Robert Zemeckis, and inexplicably animated using the finest CGI of 2007. It's a very good retelling of sorta a mashup of Beowulf the Epic and Grendel the novel focusing on the monster mom.

   8:00pm | The Seventh Curse (1986) A Chinese guy gets a nasty case of the curses after saving a woman in Thailand, to which he must return in order to battle the Worm Tribe sorcerer before he succumbs to the title. This absolutely bonkers Hong Kong 80s exploitation film is packed with action, babes, demonic baby-like creatures, and fun!

   9:25pm | Wet Hot American Summer (2001) On the last day of camp, 1981, the counselors at Camp Firewood seek to resolve unfinished business, secure and/or end relationships, and plan a spectacular talent show for their beloved campers all amid a potential catastrophic unseen danger from above. This is pure cinema.
